Mughalsarai: Twenty four passengers travelling on the Purvanchal Express from New Delhi to Howrah has fallen ill after they ate food from the railways pantry. The condition of five passengers is believed to be critical.
Irritated passengers got off the train in Mughal Sarai station in Uttar Pradesh to protest. "The food was stinking. They didn't accept our complaint," one of the passengers said.
"When we opened the food parcel, it was stinking badly. After consuming the food, most children and old people fell sick. When we complained in the morning, they didn't take the complaint," said another passenger.
